How did Juice World die?

1 Answer

  1. Jarad Anthony Higgins also knows as Juice WRLD was an American rap artist, singer, and songwriter. He created many hit songs and broke great records with his final album Legends Never Die which was released in 2020 shortly after his death. He was born on December 2nd, 1998, and passed away at the young age of twenty-one.

Higgins grew up learning the piano along with other instruments such as drums and the guitar. Due to his mother’s religious beliefs, he was kept away from hip hop but allowed music genres like rock or pop. Drugs were a part of his life since his early teen years. He began drinking Lean in the sixth grade and later switched to Percocet and Xanax. Smoking was also one of his habits until he quit due to health issues.

In his Sophomore year of high school, Higgins became much more serious about rapping and started uploading his songs on SoundCloud through his phone. Back then he appeared under the name JuicetheKidd but later switched to Juice Wrld.

In 2017 he debuted his first full-length album and earned recognition by fellow artists from Chicago. With the success of Lucid Dreams, he signed a record label with Grade A Productions.

As told by his mother, Juice was battling anxiety and depression along with his drug addiction. On December 8 2019 he was aboard a private plane en route to Chicago. It was believed the jet carried drugs and firearms. As Law enforcement officers searched the luggage members from Higgins’ management revealed he swallowed unknown pills ( believed to be Percocet pills) in an attempt to hide them. He suffered a seizure and was pronounced dead at the Advocate Christ Medical Centre in Oak Lawn. Medical Examiners later revealed the cause for this to be toxic levels of oxycodone and codeine in the body.
